An international award ceremony titled ‘Global Nepali Film, Music, Media and Social Award 2018’ concluded December 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event was hosted by Love and Support Foundation.

The event attracted more than 200 artists, media persons, and social workers among others from various places across America and  Nepal  attended the event.

Nepalese ambassador to the U.S. Dr Arjun Karki, the chief guest of the event, handed awards and certificates to various personalities.

Chief executive officer of Intra-National Home Care Dilli Adhikari was one of the recipients of ‘lifetime achievement award’ for his social contribution. Nepalese artists  Banni Pradhan, Buddhabir Lama, Premraja Mahat and Dinesh D.C. were other recipients of the  lifetime award.

Several Bhutanese artists, media persons and social workers including Arjun Pradhan, Kiran Rasaily, Damber Khapoong, Tika Acharya, Ganga Lamitarey, Hari Uprety, Jitu Basnet, Hari Subedi,  Rajen Giri,  and many others were also recognized.

Besides the individuals, Bhutanese Community Association of Charlotte is also recognized for the service it rendered to the community.
