Wild elephant kills one in Beldangi-I

A woman died in an elephant attack  in Beldangi I of Jhapa on Wednesday afternoon.

Damak Police have identified the deceased as Dil Maya Biswa, 40, of Sector C-1, Hut No : 17-18.

Police said that Biswa was attacked by the beast a few yards away from the camp in a community forest. She was on the way to her hut from Beldangi-II.

Two children survive late Biswa.

As of now wild elephants have killed at least four refugees and destroyed dozens of huts in three Beldangi camps.
