Two impoverished bombs exploded on the night of September 18, near the newly constructed bridge over Sunkosh that connects Gairigaon with Balwabas in Kalikhola dungkhag.
An underground-armed outfit named called Bhutan United Social Democratic Party (BUSDP) has owned up the responsibility of explosion.
“The Bhutan United Socialist Democratic Party on Sep 18 at about 8.30 p.m. gave another jolt to Royal Government of Bhutan by blowing off suspension bridge over the Sunkosh river by two powerful blasts,” said the armed outfit in its statement.
The police team and the Nichula Gewog officials found a brochure used for identifying BUSDP at the site.
Although no damage was caused to the bridge or its supporting pillars, it created panic to the local community who has got the bridge constructed after a long wait of two decades.
According to a reliable source in Nichula, people living nearby the bridge in Hurdung, Gairigaon are summoned by the police in Kalikhola for further investigation. However, the locals whom BNS talked to said that they never had any one to suspect for the detonation.
“We condemn such capricious attempt to jeopardize the development activity that has just begun in our village after twenty years”, said an informant.
The suspension bridge is the only means for all living under Nichula gewog to move across the river, go to hospital in Kalikhola, or fetch essential commodities during the monsoon.
destructions are against human civilisation. Never reach to the destination with violence. So, I request, to mobilise the majority of Bhutanese who are in Bhutan in against Bhutan Government in peaceful way…..this path could definately one day take to the destination.

This is absolutely the right way now. The the government had misunderstood the patience of the citizens and took advantage of it thinking it as the weakness. The tyrant never take an opportunity to learn from the country like Libya. So come on let’s join our hand so that we too can enjoy the right to life, liberty and happiness.

Thimphu should be the target, not the local public of the nation. Government officials and people in power should be attacked and threatened, not those innocent fellow Bhutanese.
Bhutan United Social Democratic Party, I have due respect on you, but don’t forget your mission to establish freedom and Human right in Bhutan. Hope, tyranny from Bhutan learn some lesson, that people would undergo any step for the change!

This is too leate to do that and so. If still u r doing this please don’t harm the poor people of the village. The bom blast in the village is useless. It is far more better to make target in thimpu ,so u will be rewarded in coming future.

i also support the revolution against the system and the autocracy govt. but this is totally destruction of human civilization not for the changes and overthrown of the govt.
first try to win the people heart and sit inside the people voice so they will support us.this is not a revolution but this is called a destruction of human being.we all have ego to do war and change the system .i recon some of the so-called leader in this party have strong agreement with Indian govt to share some territory after all.do revolution for the favor of BHUTANESE people who ever may be, who lives inside Bhutan.
