Dec 27: The members of Hindu Dharma Samudaya of Bhutan(HDSB) inaugurated its head office at Motithang yesterday.
HDSB, formed in 2007, claims to be non political, non profit and non governmental organization aiming to promote Hindu religion and its values suitable for the culture of the state.
“HDSB shall also promote the spiritual practices and traditions of Sanatan Dharma in harmony with the national ethos so as to foster and strengthen human values’, reads its press release.
This religious body will conduct prayers, religious discourses and meditation classes, and manages Pandits and Purohits .
HDSB is also set to frame a guideline for carrying out religious practices in the interest of the state. It will also organize events for peace and well being of the king, country and the people (Tsa-Wa-Sum)
