A resettled Bhutanese in Saintpaul of Minnesota State in USA has sustained critical injury when a speedy car hit the pedestrian while crossing the road Tuesday morning.
The victim has been identified as Radhika Adhikari, 29, who was resettled in December last year.
According to relatives of Adhikari, the car hit her at a time while she was crossing the busy road to head towards her work place.
Siwa Homagai, brother of Adhikari, informed BNS that his sister, who was hit by the car from her backside, has sustained critical injury on her back. She is now undergoing treatment at the Regional Hospital.
It is not yet known if the police have taken the driver of the car under their control.
