However, no donations have been made available to households whose huts were destroyed while preventing the mishap. Around three dozen of huts fall in this category, according to Camp Secretary of Beldangi camp.

Meanwhile, Nepal Red Cross Society of Jhapa district provided plastic, sari and blankets to every burnt hut earlier today.

The Caritas Nepal distributed plastic mugs, tooth paste and brush, and instant noodles, among others.

The Youth Friendly Center of Beldangi camp served lunch for all the displaced victims today, informed the Camp Secretary.

Meanwhile, the Lutheran World Federation said it will start distributing construction materials from tomorrow onwards.

“Our first priority would be to construct toilets and clean the field, and then release the construction materials,” one of its officials told Bhutan News Service.

  1. Good. People should be punished one way or the other. These are the innocent people who’re been backed by some of the leaders unknowingly and now they are realizing and pouring their angers with different structures. If the refugee camps stay for more than year or so, then we can see more violence and crime. I like the way people are doing and even expecting more for the netajs too.

  2. Namgyel you are the beast outfitted with human skin. One day we will blow you right form the palace at Thimphu with your king and you will know how the pain really feels?

Pretty soon you will be treated like Gadhafi!

BNS, Plz remove the hate comment of this beast!

  3. I really appreciates the comment made by Mr.Namgyel on above article. hope he is a real fellow who nearly understand the dirty politic played by our leader in camp with most innocent people. In fake influence of few catalyst thousand of poor innocent are killing themselves. peolpe, be catiuous with leader they are using we all to make their part of earning. this show’s that they look like “parasite”. anyway, im former refugee from beldangi 2, now with my clear decison i get rid out of it and have new life in SA. now it is your time to make good decision regarding family and growing infants.

  4. It does not make sense why this Namgyel upset with those leaders who leave their country, property, home, and every thing in sake of freedom and equality? We know our leaders failed in their mission, but what they did on 19(80-90) was appreciated. We do agree they were not well prepared, united, and organized. But, their failure is ours, coz their mission was ours.

However, it does not make sense what makes Namgyel to bring completely different topic in these miserable accident of our fellow Bhutanese. It clearly reflect, he is an paid agent of JSW how is working hard to make our history look dirty.

    Regards!
