According to PM Nepal’s foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai, the duo held discussion on bilateral issues including the political, economic and social relations between the countries.

On the occasion, King Wangchuk said that he has emotional relation with Nepal since he was born in Nepal and has been committed to expose the relation in the practical life.

Bhattarai reported Bhutanese King Wangchuk had said that he had been even closer to Nepal as most of his religious activities that he follow, take place in Nepal. The meet lasted for around 50 minutes.

Both of the countries are rich in natural resources and sharing about the development of water resources would benefit both neighbours, informed PM’s foreign advisor Bhattarai quoting Wangchuk.

Similarly, Prime Minister Nepal had participated with South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) nations’ head of the states and government heads during the retreat in Bhutan House as per the SAARC tradition.
