Bhutan has been ranked at the 142th position in the Doing Business report which was jointly by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation on Thursday.
The report was prepared on the basis of three key factors – starting business, operating business, and closing business. However, the report does not portray the overall business climate.
India is ranked at 134th position and Nepal 116th, the report mentioned.
The report added that the five-year measure of cumulative change reflects that doing business has become easier in Bhutan, India, Bangladesh, Maldives and even Afghanistan.
