Various gazals of Prakash Angdembe, who chairs International Creators’ Forum (ICF), hit listeners in all camps this week.
Orgnaised by ICF, a platform of both Nepali and Bhutanese artists, Angdembe’s gazal recitation program was coordinated by Jhakas Group of Sanischare in all seven camps.
Hundreds of exiled Bhutanese were enthralled by his touching verses on different recipes including resettlement, life in camp, and other contemporary issues.
Angdembe is a well known literary figure in the region and has been associated with various literary groups involving Nepalese and Bhutanese nationals.
