The United Revolutionary Front of Bhutan (URFB) has claimed responsibility to the Sunday twin blasts in Bhutan.
In a media statement sent to BNS via email from undisclosed location, Karma, Commander-in-Chief of the Front, said the blasts were aimed at drawing the attentions of the ongoing national assembly towards the people’s aspiration and to warn the stakeholders—in their own words, responsible for the suffering of the innocent Bhutanese people in general.
“The Front detonated two (IED) explosives at followings places—one in Gaylephug cinema hall and the other in Phuentsholing Market. URFB sincerely claims these incidents that took place on May 22, 2011,” reads the statement.
The Front further stated that under the ploy of the so-called democratization, the regime still functions with iron rule and people are being suppressed, oppressed and discriminated in Bhutan.
“URFB shall continue its subversive activities till the regime exercise its autocratic power and present itself in more aggressive manner in coming days ahead,” warned Karma.

I am very happy that the revolution was taking place in Bhutan, in spite of this, i am very sad to think about the future of Bhutanese Nepali inside the southern Bhutan.
I would like to request all the youth those are taking part in revolution, please kindly realize that Bahadur Tamang of Beldangi-one sector G,Ramesh Subba of Beldangi-I, Tshiring Tamang of Sector-B and other youth murder because of betrayed from their own party. Therefore, please think before you start your operation inside the Bhutan about your family,and your community because the leader of your party will use you people like a use and throw.They would be the reason of your death. please, think your old mum,dad,and your small brother and sister those are taking refuge inside the camp. Do you know the leader that you believe is the enemy of you, he can work for money, he would call to the government of Bhutan before you go to operation.

This attack don’t make sense. Killing innocent people doesn’t matter sharchop or lhotshampa dont give solution to change the political scenarios. Opting violance in the name of bringing change in the country is a mare dream which will in the long run make country and the people poor and make a good place of battlefield for other countries. Instant instance of which is Nepal. Hence, opt peaceful means of movement which has power and widely accepted movement and definate sooner or later change will come. PLEASE STOP WEAPON

But My concern is why the brave sons of the soil be so brute and place bombs in the garbage cans and parks where ordinary people like u and me come. Do you not use your common sense.
Lets not resort to violence, innocent people get killed for no reason.
No where in this universe has war and violence been given a space nor has it been proved to be a reliable weapon to achieve goal…..keep aside your old and rusted(rented)guns n follow peaceful means…all the Diaspora Bhutanese support you ..or else you guys will die a dog’s death…

Bhutan police is busy putting people behind bar for carrying few packets of tobacco. Forget about your crave for catching international attention for wrong and stupid reasons, first GNH and now tobacco. Everybody knows GNH is a joke, while the rich Bhutanese are climbing higher in wealth ladder driving by your endless greed, others in the rural villages go to bed empty stomach.
